From the time of St. Columba (and undoubtedly before) travellers have been crossing the Irish Sea, to trade, work, take part in battles, or to find wives or husbands. With crossing times of as short as 60 minutes between Galloway and Larne, and a range of modern, well-equipped ferries, the journey is rather different today to the one Columba took in 563 when he exiled himself from Ireland.
We offer a number of holidays combining Scotland and Ireland, and would be delighted to tailormake a holiday for you.
